General Fast Instructions
In dedicating the first month of the year to a concentrated time of prayer and fasting, we ask that you refrain from regular meals and have one meal after 6 PM and corporate prayer. Use your lunchtime to meditate on the Word and take in 16-20 oz of 100% fruit juice, sugar-free vegetable juice, or gatorade for nourishment at that time.
We usually remove something each week as we grow stronger in the time of fasting. Please join us in praying for the corporate prayer objectives. Use this time to become more sensitive to what God is saying.
Now is not the time to broadcast or appear as though you are fasting. It is a time dedicated to hearing God and submitting your will to His. Honor that time by fasting with integrity.
